Amazon Prime Air is India’s first e-commerce air cargo

The only e-commerce platform in India that has its own air cargo network will be Quikjet Cargo Airlines, and will serve as the carrier. The service will use two Boeing 737-800 flights that will be operated by Quikjet Cargo Airlines.

Where will the Amazon Prime Air cargo service operate?

The Amazon Prime Air cargo service will operate in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. These flights will help Amazon to ship goods quickly from various fulfillment centers located in four cities.

How many sellers will get benefit from Amazon Prime Air cargo in India?

Among the up to 1 million sellers in the country who will be able to use the Prime Air cargo service, according to the company. Currently, the company has 3 million square feet of processing area as well as 43 million cubic feet of storage space available for seller inventory in India. In India, Amazon currently has the ability to deliver products to more than 97 percent of pin codes within two days of placing the order.

There are currently 110 Prime Air cargo flights flying around 70 destinations in the world, with India being the third country to get it. After the United States and Europe, India is now the third country to receive Amazon Prime Air cargo. As of 2016, Amazon Prime Air cargo was launched in the US, and the e-commerce platform continues to add more flights to its fleet every day, increasing its fleet.
