Is the Nothing phone(1) really worth all the hype?

Nothing Technology Limited has finally released their first ever smartphone, the Nothing Phone(1). This device has been the talk of the town lately, with every tech enthusiast talking about it. The name ‘Nothing’ is everywhere, from news channels and blog sites to YouTube videos and social media.

As a new company, you may be wondering what all the hype is about their first smartphone. What does this phone do that any other phone cannot do? These questions all come down to one main question: Is it worth the hype?

In the year 2020, a co-founder 0f OnePlus(1+) called Carl Pei resigned from OnePlus and started his own company called ‘Nothing’.

Price range for 8GB RAM is 29,999 Indian rupees and for 12GB RAM is 35,999 Indian rupees.

Build:

Most midrange smart phones are built with plastic frames, but the Nothing Phone is different. The Nothing Phone is built on an aluminum frame, making the device stronger and giving it a premium feel.

Main attraction is its LED notification lights behind and a cool transparent black glass.

Camera and Display:

On the back of the device, there are two camera lenses. Both lenses are 50MP each. The main camera is a 50mp wide angle lens and the second one is a 50MP ultrawide angle lens.

The Nothing phone comes fitted with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display that runs at a refresh rate of 120Hz. This allows for smoother scrolling and a better overall experience when using the phone.

Battery and Charging:

The Nothing Phone (1) has a 4500mAh battery that charges quickly with 33W fast charging technology. In addition to being powerful, the Nothing Phone (1) also has premium features like 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. This means you can charge your wireless headset and other wireless chargeable devices without being tethered to a cord.
